Alabama High School Softball - Hokes Bluff gets by Glencoe

The Hokes Bluff Eagles got by the visiting Glencoe Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (16-14) will now prepare for their battle against Geraldine (Geraldine, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Area 12 battle with a 19-6 record. In their last battle, Geraldine nudged Collinsville (Collinsville, AL), 7-4, in a league battle.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 28-16 record. They play next when they travel to Collinsville for a non-league battle on Monday, May 2. Glencoe will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-19.
