The Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) softball routed the visiting Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA), 11-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Hawks (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Capital bout with a 2-7 record.

The Clippers now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bruton for a Bay Rivers bout on Thursday, May 5. Grafton will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 21-1 league loss to New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-10.
