Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Jac-Cen-Del Eagles (Osgood, IN), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Shiners now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwestern for a Ohio River Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 4. Rising Sun will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Austin (Austin, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 8-11.

With the loss, Jac-Cen-Del falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Southwestern (Hanover, IN) to battle the Rebels in a Ohio River Valley challenge on Friday, May 6.
