South Rebels (Willoughby, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4. South will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Madison (Madison, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Kenston falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Bombers host Chardon (Chardon, OH) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Western Reserve challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 10-8. Chardon won 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH)
