Pennsylvania High School Softball - Lancaster Mennonite topped by Pequea Valley

In Monday's league contest, the Pequea Valley Braves (Kinzers, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host Lancaster Mennonite Blazers (Lancaster, PA), by a margin of 20-7.

With the triumph, Pequea Valley moves its record to 4-10 on the year. The Braves host Columbia (Columbia, PA) to play the Crimson Tide in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 4 contest on Wednesday, May 4. The Crimson Tide come into the contest with a record of 0-7. Columbia lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA)

In their next game, the Blazers play the Antietam Mountaineers (Reading, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, May 4. Lancaster Mennonite will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 18-2 league loss to Tulpehocken (Bernville, PA).
