The Mother McAuley Mighty Macs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Trinity Blazers to 9 in the Mighty Macs league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mother McAuley moves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Mighty Macs travel to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a GCAC- Red game on Wednesday, May 4. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 12-9. St. Laurence won 11-1 in their recent league game against Resurrection (Chicago, IL)

In their next game, the Blazers clash with the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 4. Trinity will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL).
