Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA), 7-6 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they host Wilson Area for a Colonial - East challenge on Wednesday, May 4. Saucon Valley will face a Warriors squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Notre Dame-Green Pond falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA) to face the Green Knights in a Colonial - East challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Green Knights enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Pen Argyl won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA)
