Notus Pirates (Notus, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wilder Wildcats (Wilder, ID), 22-3 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horseshoe Bend for a 1A Western Idaho challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Notus will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Wilder falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Rimrock (Bruneau, ID) to battle the Raiders in a 1A Western Idaho challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Rimrock lost 6-2 in their recent league challenge against Notus (Notus, ID)
