South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pecatonica Indians (Pecatonica, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sobos now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alden-Hebron for a Northeastern Athletic Conference challenge on Tuesday, May 3.

With the loss, Pecatonica falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Indians host Dakota (Dakota, IL) to face the Indians in a NUIC East challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Dakota lost 11-5 in their recent league challenge against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL)
