The West Milford Highlanders softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Wayne Valley Indians to 8 in the Highlanders league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, West Milford moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ) to clash with the Patriots in a Big North game on Monday, May 9. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 1-6.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 4. Wayne Valley will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Cutters come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ).
