The John Paul II Catholic Saints baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots to 1 in the Saints league victory on Tuesday.
The Saints (13-8) will now prepare for their match against Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC). The Centurions go into the non-league match with a 8-11 record. In their last match, Coastal Christian was overwhelmed by Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 8-0, in a non-league match.
The Patriots (16-8) will now prepare for their match against Epiphany (New Bern, NC). The Falcons go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain match with a 1-11 record. In their last match, Epiphany tipped Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC), 16-15, in a non-league match.
