The Granby Comets baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Norcom Greyhounds to 3 in the Comets league victory on Tuesday.
The Comets (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Great Bridge gained a win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 5-2, in a league match.
The Greyhounds (2-11) will now prepare for their match against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs go into the Eastern match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Manor was overwhelmed by Maury (Norfolk, VA), 10-3, in a league match.
