The Normal West Wildcats baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Peoria Lions to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Peoria (Peoria, IL). The Lions come into the Big Twelve test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Peoria was overwhelmed by Danville (Danville, IL), 15-5, in a league test.

With the defeat, Peoria falls to 1-12 on the season. The Lions travel to Normal West (Normal, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a Big Twelve test on Tuesday, May 2. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 7-12. Normal West won 11-5 in their recent non-league test against Dunlap (Dunlap, IL)
