The Wahpeton Huskies baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Red River Roughriders to 8 in the Huskies league victory on Tuesday.
The Huskies (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Fargo Davies (Fargo, ND). The Eagles go into the Class A - East Region match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Fargo Davies was overwhelmed by West Fargo (West Fargo, ND), 13-6, in a league match.
The Roughriders (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND). The Knights go into the Class A - East Region match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Grand Forks Central was overwhelmed by Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND), 10-7, in a non-league match.
