The William Byrd Terriers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Staunton River Golden Eagles to 4 in the Terriers league victory on Tuesday.
The Terriers (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 12-2 record. In their last match, Cave Spring edged Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 22-2, in a league match.
The Golden Eagles (6-13) will now prepare for their match against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings go into the Blue Ridge challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Northside nipped Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.
