In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Meridian Mustangs soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the William Monroe Dragons.
The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Warren County Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
The Dragons (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Trailblazers come into the non-league battle with a 1-10 record.
