The Concord Spiders soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting East Rowan Mustangs to 1 in the Spiders league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Spiders face the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, May 3. Concord will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 10-5 record after their 6-0 league win over Lexington (Lexington, NC).

The Mustangs now have a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A contest on Friday, May 5. East Rowan will face a Trojans team coming off a 5-1 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 10-7.
