Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Green County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. Marion County will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Adair County falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Indians host Russell County (Russell Springs, KY) to battle the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Lakers enter the challenge with a record of 5-15. Russell County won 9-2 in their recent league challenge against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY)
