Hillsboro Tigers (Hillsboro, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bangor Cardinals (Bangor, WI), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wonewoc-Center for a Scenic Bluffs challenge on Thursday, May 4. Hillsboro will face a Wolves squad coming off a 15-7 league win over Royall (Elroy, WI). The Wolves record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Bangor falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host New Lisbon (New Lisbon, WI) to face the Rockets in a Scenic Bluffs challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. New Lisbon lost 22-11 in their recent league challenge against Brookwood (Ontario, WI)
