Bear River Bears (Garland, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Logan Grizzlies (Logan, UT), 14-1 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bingham for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Bear River will battle a Miners squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Miners record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Logan falls to 6-17 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Mountain Crest (Hyrum, UT) to battle the Mustangs in a 4A Region 11 challenge on Friday, May 5. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 10-11. Mountain Crest won 22-9 in their recent league challenge against Sky View (Smithfield, UT)
