Indiana High School Softball - Speedway bounces Beech Grove

The Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) softball routed the host Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN), 7-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Sparkplugs (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Southport (Indianapolis, IN). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, Southport was routed by Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN), 9-5, in a non-league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Franklin Central for a non-league bout on Friday, May 5. Beech Grove will confront a Flashes squad coming off a 11-8 non-league win over McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN). The Flashes record now stands at 9-9.
