Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN), 19-9 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orono for a Metro West challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Chaska will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 5-1 league win over St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Benilde-St. Margaret's falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Red knights host New Prague (New Prague, MN) to battle the Trojans in a Metro West challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 5-1.
