The Grayson County Blue Devils softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Bland County Bears to 0 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Grayson County improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Blue Devils host George Wythe (Wytheville, VA) to clash with the Maroons in a Mountain Empire game on Friday, May 5. The Maroons come into the game with a record of 8-9. George Wythe lost 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA)

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a Mountain Empire game, on Friday, May 5. Bland County will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 12-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA).
