The Lockport Porters softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Bolingbrook Raiders to 0 in the Porters league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lockport improves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Porters host Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to clash with the Griffins in a SouthWest Suburban game on Thursday, May 4. The Griffins come into the game with a record of 17-4. Lincoln-Way East won 12-1 in their recent league game against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL)

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 3. Bolingbrook will attempt to better on its 2-19 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 11-0 league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL).
