The Yellowjackets now own a 8-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wesclin for a Cahokia - Illinois challenge on Thursday, May 4. Chester will face a Warriors squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Valmeyer (Valmeyer, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Sparta falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Steeleville (Steeleville, IL) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 4-15. Steeleville won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL)
