The Coastal Academy Stingrays softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Francis Parker Lancers to 0 in the Stingrays league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Coastal Academy improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Stingrays host Bishop's (La Jolla, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, May 5. The Knights come into the game with a record of 5-10. Bishop's won 15-6 in their recent league game against Classical Academy (Escondido, CA)

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Orange Glen Patriots (Escondido, CA) in a Pacific game, on Thursday, May 4. Francis Parker will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 1-13 record after their 22-12 league win over St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA).
