The Crest Chargers routed the visiting Forestview Jaguars softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Chargers (17-3) will now prepare for their battle against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers go into the Big South 3A battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Kings Mountain was routed by Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 5-1, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now sport a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a Big South 3A battle on Friday, May 5. Forestview will meet a Storm squad coming off a 22-1 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Storm record now stands at 14-8.
