Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dadeville Tigers (Dadeville, AL), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 18-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beulah for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Randolph County will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Smiths Station (Smiths, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 25-7.

With the loss, Dadeville falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Tigers host Randolph County (Wedowee, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 3A Area 7 challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 18-12. Randolph County lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Beulah (Valley, AL)
