The Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) softball triumphed over the visiting Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME), 15-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashland for a Class D North challenge on Thursday, May 4. Katahdin will face a Hornets squad coming off a 18-7 league win over Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Hornets record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Fort Kent falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME) to face the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Wisdom lost 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME)
