Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvert for a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Leonardtown will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Great Mills falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to North Point (Waldorf, MD) to battle the Eagles in a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-9.
