In Tuesday's league outing, the host Southampton Indians softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Greensville County Eagles.
Coming up next, the Indians battle the Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA) in a Tri-Rivers outing, on Thursday, May 4. Southampton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Broncos enter the outing with a 0-13 record after their 15-1 league loss to Surry County (Dendron, VA).
The Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Cougars enter the Tri-Rivers outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Surry County was routed by Windsor (Windsor, VA), 16-1, in a league outing.
