Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), 8-1 in a league challenge.

The Storm now sport a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincolnwood for a challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Tri-City/Sangamon Valley will face a Lancers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 7-9.
