The Loretto Mustangs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers to 4 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Loretto improves its record to 14-13 on the year. The Mustangs host Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, TN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, May 4. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 22-9. Zion Christian Academy lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Summit (Spring Hill, TN)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN) in a 2A District 10 game, on Thursday, May 4. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Scotts Hill (Reagan, TN).
