Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Provo Bulldogs (Provo, UT), 21-1 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they host Springville for a 5A Region 9 challenge on Thursday, May 4. Maple Mountain will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 8-6 league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Provo falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Salem Hills (Salem, UT) to battle the Skyhawks in a 5A Region 9 challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Skyhawks enter the challenge with a record of 11-8. Salem Hills won 17-2 in their recent league challenge against Wasatch (Heber City, UT)
