The Mt. Eden Monarchs softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Tennyson Lancers to 0 in the Monarchs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mt. Eden moves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Monarchs host San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to play the Pirates in a West Alameda County-Shoreline game on Thursday, May 4. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 12-9.

In their next game, the Lancers play the Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) in a West Alameda County-Shoreline game, on Friday, May 5. Tennyson will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record. The Jets come into the game with a 10-9 record after their 19-3 league win over San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA).
