Minnesota High School Softball - Orono bounces St. Louis Park

Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN), 5-1 in a league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chaska for a Metro West challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Orono will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 19-9 league win over Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, St. Louis Park falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Orioles host Waconia (Waconia, MN) to battle the Wildcats in a Metro West challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-2.
