The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) and the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), saw Prospect's softball squad nip Rolling Meadows by a count of 10-5.

The Knights now sport a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palatine for a Mid-Suburban West match on Wednesday, May 3. Prospect will face a Pirates squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL) to face the Hawks in a Mid-Suburban West match on Wednesday, May 3. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 1-17. Hoffman Estates lost 13-2 in their recent non-league match against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL)
