St. Catherine's Saints (Richmond, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host St. Margaret's Scotties (Tappahannock, VA), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Saints now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Collegiate for a League of Independent Schools challenge on Thursday, May 4. St. Catherine's will face a Cougars squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-12.

With the loss, St. Margaret's falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Scotties travel to Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-3.
