Connecticut High School Baseball - Putnam loses to Bacon Academy

The Bacon Academy Bobcats crushed the host Putnam Clippers baseball team by a count of 17-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bobcats now possess a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lyman Memorial for a non-league bout on Friday, May 3. Bacon Academy will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-10 non-league win over Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.

Next, the Clippers face the Tourtellotte Tigers (North Grosvenordale, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Division IV bout, on Saturday, May 4. Putnam will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-11 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to New London (New London, CT).
