Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) and the host South Point Pointers (South Point, OH), saw Fairview's baseball squad knock off South Point by a count of 14-7.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 4. Fairview will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 11-11 record after their 14-12 non-league loss to East Carter (Grayson, KY).

The Pointers now possess a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portsmouth for a Ohio Valley battle on Friday, May 3. South Point will play a Trojans squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Green (Franklin Furnace, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 16-4.
