Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Metea Valley upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Mustangs host Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 22-3. Wheaton Academy won 6-4 in their recent league test against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL)

With the defeat, Naperville North falls to 9-11 on the season. The Huskies travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a Southwest Prairie test on Saturday, May 4. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 15-9. Plainfield Central won 8-2 in their recent league test against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL)
