Gateway Regional Gators (Woodbury Heights, NJ) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ), 17-5 in a non-league battle.

The Gators now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Triton for a non-league battle on Monday, May 6. Gateway Regional will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Collingswood (Collingswood, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-4.

In their next game, the Tartans clash with the Burlington City Blue Devils (Burlington, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 3. Highland Regional will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ).
