Next, the Cougars confront the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Monday, May 6. Patrick County will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Honaker (Honaker, VA).

The Cougars now possess a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenvar for a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, May 6. Alleghany will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 3-1 league win over Radford (Radford, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 13-0.
