The Boardman Spartans softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Columbiana Clippers to 2 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Boardman improves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Keystone (La Grange, OH) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 7-5. Keystone won 26-7 in their recent non-league game against Smithville (Smithville, OH)

In their next game, the Clippers clash with the East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 7. Columbiana will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Southern (Salineville, OH).
