Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host R.A. Long Lumberjacks (Longview, WA), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Rapids now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mark Morris for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Columbia River will face a Monarchs squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over R.A. Long (Longview, WA). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, R.A. Long falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Woodland (Woodland, WA) to face the Beavers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Beavers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
