Montesano Bulldogs (Montesano, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Timberline for a non-league game on Saturday, May 4. Montesano will clash with a Blazers team coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA). The Blazers record now stands at 1-6.

In their next game, the Grizzlies clash with the Naselle Comets (Naselle, WA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 6. Hoquiam will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA).
