The Whitney Wildcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Oak Ridge Trojans to 6 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Whitney improves its record to 23-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Rams come into the game with a record of 14-2. Casa Roble won 9-7 in their recent non-league game against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) in a game, on Tuesday, May 7. Oak Ridge will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 10-13 record after their 7-1 league loss to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
