In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Central Wise Warriors soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the John Battle Trojans.
The Warriors (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Wolfpack come into the Mountain 7 battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Ridgeview was overwhelmed by Abingdon (Abingdon, VA), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Trojans (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Virginia High nudged Richlands (Richlands, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.
