Next, the Wildcats face the Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) in a North Central challenge, on Monday, May 6. Humboldt will attempt to better on its 18-1 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 6-0 league win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA).

The now have a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Decorah-North Winneshiek for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Hampton-Dumont/CAL will face a Vikings team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 13-3.
