Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA) and the visiting Academy of Notre Dame Lancers (Tyngsborough, MA), witnessed Haverhill's softball squad prevail over Academy of Notre Dame by a count of 15-2.
The Hillies now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tewksbury Memorial for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. Haverhill will meet a Redmen squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Dracut (Dracut, MA). The Redmen record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Academy of Notre Dame moves to 3-2 on the season. The Lancers host Minuteman Regional (Lexington, MA) to meet the Minuteman in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Minuteman go into the match with a record of 4-1.
